 Darryl Herrington has over 30 years petroleum engineering experience in the global oil and gas industry having worked as project/operations manager and drilling engineer for companies such as Halliburton, Esso Exploration, Unocal, Dominion Oil, KOC (Kuwait) and Agip Oil (Italy). He holds a BSc, MBA, PhD (Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering) and is a Certified Engineer with postgraduate engineering research in thermodynamic wellbore analysis determining the effects of temperature contrast between near wellbore and far field fracture initiation pressures. He has taught engineering well-design and failure analysis for major oil companies worldwide and was also the Founding CEO of Scitron International, a petroleum drilling/completion and engineering company which employed over 70 engineers around the world. He brings experience in drilling program management and control, in addition to drilling engineering expertise. Darryl is an honoured member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, National Association of Corrosion Engineers, Institute of Physics UK and American Physical Society, elected to US National Honor Society, honoured in US National Chancellor’s List of academic applied engineering science, and elected as an honoured professional for the USA National Directory Who’s Who of Executives and Professionals for business. |
