 Michael Nongkas is a geology graduate from University of Papua New Guinea. Michael was involved in a number of research studies including the 1997 tsunami disaster in the Aitape region, West Sepik, PNG. He was attached briefly with Porgera Joint Venture (PJV) undertaking mineral exploration programs before leaving to take up science teaching in secondary schools. Michael also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the University of Goroka. |
